A new PAIR of gas struts for the very heavy tailgate of your Pre July 1997 XJ Jeep Cherokee.
These struts are very easy to install, with a simple clip on clip off ball fitting on each end.
The struts DO NOT fit the XJ Cherokee made from JULY 1997 onwards, they have a T shape bracket on the top end of the strut, not a cup fitting. (Easy to identify) They are also NOT suitable for the ZG/ZJ series Grand Cherokee, please check compatibility.
